Learn about the Azure SQL Server and Database.

During the installation of the ProConomics Portal, an Azure SQL Server and Database are created. The database stores the portal configuration, user data, and other application data.

Important

Do not modify the data in the database directly. All changes should be made through the ProConomics Portal interface. Modifying the database directly can lead to data corruption and application errors.

The default pricing tier is usually sufficient for most use cases. Azure SQL Database supports automatic backups which are enabled by default.
